The Bible says, As a man thinks in his heart, so is he. In Psychology this is called “Self-Fulfilling Prophecy”. In essence, what you believe about yourself or your circumstances ultimately influences how you respond (often in every arena of life) and much of the time dictates your outcomes. This is why 2 people can come from very similar backgrounds and environments and yet experience completely different outcomes.
Today is a clean slate, yesterday is over! The Bible says that God’s mercies are new every morning. Ask yourself how your thoughts about you contradict God’s thoughts about you and with intentionality, change your mind. As Henry Ford said, If you believe you can or you believe you can’t – You’re right!
